I'm Mrs. Tayloe, and I have been teaching in Horry County for five years.

During the 2012-2013 school year, I will be starting my sixth year teaching at Forestbrook Elementary, and I cannot wait! During this school year, I will be teaching fourth grade. Over the past five years, I have taught both fourth and fifth grade at Seaside and Ocean Bay Elementary, I have become GT certified and I have received my Masters in Literacy from Coastal Carolina. I enjoy teaching, and I love working with my fabulous group of students!

Teaching was not a first career for me! At first, I attended NC State University - GO WOLFPACK! - and worked in the Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising field. When I decided that just wasn't for me, I returned to school to be a teacher! After finishing up school...yet again...I moved from North Carolina to South Carolina, and I have been living here, at the beach, ever since!

I love living here in Pawleys Island with my husband Will and our four-legged furry son, Duncan! Will is a fire fighter and a paramedic at Midway Fire Rescue in Pawleys Island. When I am not teaching school, you can find me spending time outside, reading a good book or spending time with family and friends!
