Experience:
Before I began teaching, I worked in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system from 1996-2000. I worked as a Willie M Crisis Interventionist, in SPED classrooms; and I worked as a Campus Security Associate with administrative teams. I began teaching at Monroe Middle School in Monroe, NC in 2000. After teaching there for five years, I married Thomas Canepa, who teachers/coaches at WKHS, and moved to Lexington, SC. I first taught at White Knoll Middle School for two years. Then, when Carolina Springs Middle School opened, I transferred here. I currently have twelve years of teaching experience.
