About Dr. Ken Sherman
Dr. Ken Sherman has been involved in education for more than 30 years, including 20 years as a secondary level administrator. From 1996-2009, he was the principal of Clarke Middle School in Athens, GA. He continues to teach graduate education course at the University of Georgia and Piedmont College, Athens. Dr. Sherman is involved in several other work and community service endeavors. He is currently serving as the Excecutive Director of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Athens, a non-profit group that partners with local congregations to provide temporary housing and vital services for homeless families. He is also the president of the Athens Jewish Film Festival. Dr.Sherman is also an avid cyclist who rides more the 500 miles per month. He organizes bike groups and charity events.
