I am an Instructional Technology Teacher for the Escambia County School District in Pensacola, Florida with 21 years experience in the district as a Media Specialist, Technology Coordinator and IT Teacher. My varied responsibilities and interests include mentoring teachers participating in the Technology Infused Project Based Learning Initiatives, emerging Web 2.0 tools, iPad Apps and their implications for curriculum. I am one of the Co-Founders of SLEEC and TEC Islands in Second Life used for professional learning opportunities and virtual student project based learning builds.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree in Educational Media from the University of South Alabama.
