I have been in education for 22 years. I began my career with Chatham County Schools in Savannah, Georgia, where I taught 7th grade Life Science for 2 years. Following that, I worked on an adolescent psychiatric unit as an educational therapist while pursuing my masters degree in Special Education at Armstrong Atlantic State University. I moved to Fulton County in 1997 where I taught at Heards Ferry Elementary School for 4 years before transferring to Haynes Bridge Middle in 2001.
