My name is Lauren McSwain and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Fields Store Elementary. I come from a long line of educators and love the job that I do. I have been teaching at Fields Store for last 8 years, all of which in 3rd grade.

I was born and raised in Jasper, Texas where I developed my love for cheerleading, gymnastics and all sports. My parents were both apart of the education system and my brother and I have followed in their footsteps. I attend Southwest Texas State University now known as Texas State University in San Marcos. I was the first graduating class from "Texas State." I have an education degree in Special Education and Regular Education and am also ESL Certified. I graduated from Texas State in May of 2004 and began teaching in Waller in August of 2004.

My husband Brad and I have a beautiful daughter Emma. We love being outside, fishing, camping, football games and just having family time at home.
