I love technology! I started working with computers in 1989. You know how sometimes a trade just comes natural to people? Well, that is what happended to me. Working with elementary aged children combined with technology is a joy and I love what I do!

I started our school Tech Club three years ago with 4th and 5th grade students. Last year, we added three 3rd grade students to the club! Our projects have grown and we are very exciting to exhibit our work at the 4th Annual HCS Technology Fair to be held in April of 2013.

I have been at Lakewood the past 11 years after moving here from Connecticut. I have designed our Yearbook for the last 9 years. It is not only work, but has turned into a wonderful hobby of graphic design.

Classes also come to me during the school day to learn Microsoft. 2nd through 5th learn Microsoft Word, MS Publisher, MS Powerpoint, Keyboarding and do projects on the IPADS and IPODS. Pre-K through 1st learn basic keyboarding skills and how to navigate the menu to open up various apps.

Technology Geek - thats me! Doing Technology service calls for the teachers and staff is part of my day. Talk about a diverse year.... Its what I love!
