Kernersville Middle school focuses on our students being well-rounded and responsible citizens.

100% of our classes are taught by highly qualified teachers. The majority of our teachers have

been at Kernersville since it opened in 1998. We were chosen as a 2008 "School To Watch"
and a 2011 "Redesignated School to Watch".

Kernersville offers a wide range of programs, from advanced classes to inclusion classes. Staff

participates in Weekly Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), monthly grade level meetings

and monthly departmental meetings; which afford our teachers the opportunity to learn, share

collaborate with each other. Quarterly assessments are given and information is used to inform

instruction. Historically our school has been successful in North Carolina's ABC accountability

model.
