This is my 17th year of teaching and my 7th year teaching science at Challenger Middle School. I have also taught at Santa Clara Elementary School and Apollo and Chaparral Middle Schools. Before coming to Challenger MS I worked for 20 years as an Exploration Geologist, looking for gold and copper deposits all over the world, including Mexico, Central America, South America, Australia, Indonesia, and Canada. I've been married for 26 years to my wife, Cyndy, who is a Radiosurgery Nurse at UMC. We have a son, Gavin, who attends the University of Arizona and who just got married in August. We share our house with two very devoted and fierce Chihuahua's. I love teaching science and am excited to be working with such great students.
