My name is Ann Bennett and this is my 32nd year teaching in Lexington District One. I have always worked with students with special needs and I love it! I was born in Columbia, but moved 15 times with my family before graduating college. I received my Bacelor's Degree in Learning Disabilities from Winthrop College and my Master's in Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. I have one daughter who is in the 11th grade at Lexington High School. I enjoy teaching, football (Carolina Panthers, South Carolina Gamecocks and Lexington Wildcats) and completing 1000- piece jigsaw puzzles. I am very excited about opening a new school and being a GATOR!
