I graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor's degree in biology. From there I moved to New Hampshire and completed my Master's degree at the University of New Hampshire in Secondary Science Education. My focus was on environmental education.

My love of experiential education has influenced me to seek out the best possible hands-on experiences for my students. Nothing beats the look in a student's eye when they discover something they have learned about first hand!

Teaching science allows me to share my love of the world around us with my students - 23 years and counting!
