I am a Colorado native and have been in DPS since 1986. My career here began in middle school special education at Kepner and Baker Middle Schools. I then spent 14 years at Ashley Elementary School as a classroom teacher and humanities facilitator and several years as a humanities specialist. Prior to my current role, I served as assistant prinicipal at Maxwell Elementary School. My love of instruction is what brings me to the role of elementary social studies coordinator. It is my privilege to work with teachers, school facilitators, school administrators, and specialists to support quality curriculum development and teacher professional development in social studies. In addition, I partner with community groups and higher education institutions to coordinate special programs for schools.
