Hi. I'm Mr. Grodin. I love teaching because each year I get new faces that are eager to learn and they, in turn, are exposed to the older faces who return to my classroom to say "HI!" to reminisce.

I provide a safe environment for everyone to share what they feel is their best foot forward in class and maintain that they carry that torch in other classes too.

My notes are designed to get my students to constantly couple:

1. what they already know
with
2. what they're about to learn (and then incorporate into their schema!)
[kids, "schema" is a set of rules and knowledge you use in your head!]

I'm highly-encouraged to see the enthusiasm, and willingness to see my students constantly push their own boundaries in my class, and online!
