I am a journalist that worked as a special education aide. I felt my knowledge of visual and audio communication (broadcasting) could be put to use within the education system. I went back to school to earn my MAT in Special Education.
Due to my parents' health after certification, I continued to work as an aide rather than pursue a position that would take more of my time. I do not regret it because I cherish the last years I had with my parents.
Moving on, I am ready to start a new pathway, integrating technology and common core standards. No more procrastination!
