I've been teaching at LSHS for 25 years, and teaching a total of 31 years. My current assignment includes AP Lang&Comp and English I, Honors and Regular. I graduated from SDSU with a BA in Journalism and my teaching credential and earned my MA in Education/Emphasis English Curriculum & Instruction from Cal State San Bernardino. This is my 29th year in Alvord.

Besides playing with words & the written language, I also show West Highland White Terriers in conformation, agility, obedience and earthdog. CH Maura is my 8 year old Agility dog who is working toward her Preferred Agility Champion (PACH) title after working her way up through the preferred agility title classes in 2011 and competing in the 2012 AKC Preferred National Agility Championships. Kelsey is currently the reigning Pillow Queen who will be 13 years old this school year.
