I'm a language arts teacher on Team 7-3 at Berry Middle School. Before becoming a teacher, I spent several years working in journalism as a reporter as well as an editor. I was born in Wheeling, West Virginia and my hometown is Fairhope, Alabama. I have a beautiful wife, Liz, and we have two boys, Steven and Sam. I'm a die-hard Steelers fan -- I was married in a Steelers tuxedo and have attended Steelers Fantasy Camp. I make an annual pilgrimage to Pittsburgh every year. When I'm not cheering the Steelers to victory, you can find me reading, playing the guitar, fishing, or running. I've survived three Warrior Dashes, and I've tried out for Jeopardy. I can easily be bribed with Buffalo wings, Milo's, and Krispy Kreme donuts. I recently completed my first half marathon.
