My hope is that, through teaching math, I can give my students tools that will help them be productive citizens in an ever-growing global society. I am entering my 11th year as a teacher after spending almost as many years in an unfulfilling career. I believe that life is a series of choices and if you don't like the direction you're headed, you are free to make different choices. I am married, have two college-aged children and spend my free time training for my next running or triathlon event.
