A graduate of the Art Education Department at The Ohio State University. I fell in love with teaching my little brother, his friends and our cousins. As a professional, I began my career in education as a Graduate Teaching Associate at Ohio State. Following OSU, I developed curriculum for and taught in art museums, and most recently elementary and high school. I began teaching at Olympia in 2004. Since coming to Olympia I have taught Photography, Drawing, Art 2D, Portfolio and AP Studio Art.

As an artist, I work in a variety of media. Current favorites are mixed media and light painting photography.
