I have been teaching in OUSD for almost 20 years. I clearly remember the day I was hired on January 26, 1990. My journey in teaching has been wonderful and I am very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to teach grades K-6th with the exception of 4th grade. I am sure that 4th graders are awesome! I currently enjoy teaching Kindergarten and I look forward to many more years of teaching. Perhaps one day, I will take new classes to work on a doctorate degree.
I have four beautiful children of my own. They all loved their years at McPherson and all four children have moved onto college and high school. However, the best memories of community, teachers and learning are from McPherson. Thank you to all the teachers that worked with my four kiddos and each of you made a difference in their education and life.
