I have been teaching science since 1980. At HPHS, I taught physics, chemistry and physical science from 1980 -82. Since 1984, I have taught physical science, chemistry and AP chemistry at Topeka High. I am fortunate to work with diverse, talented, and sometimes incorrigible individuals- the professional teaching staff!! In my spare time, I enjoy cooking (and eating), bicycling, reading (mostly banned books), and spending time with my family. Susan Stickley (math teacher and coach at State Street elementary school) has "put up" with me for nearly 23 years. Our children, Shane, a freshman at William Jewell College, and Anna provide me with endless hours of discussion and entertainment.
