I am a technology integrator for Chesterfield County Public Schools. After working as a first grade teacher for 23 years, I looped with my class to second grade. During those years, I had a strong desire to learn about this "technology tool'. I attended as many classes as possible and found how much easier technology made my job. I quickly started sharing my knowledge with my students, who used Apple computers and dot matrix printers to "publish" their work. We saved our work on 5 1/4 floppies! While sharing technology with my students, I also became a trainer of technology in the building. Today I strive to stay abreast of the new technologies and share my knowledge with teachers and students throughout the county.
