I started my career as a research chemist at Case Western Reserve University and the University of Pittsburgh. After moving to Rochester 12 years ago, I worked at the University of Rochester as a technician and teaching assistant for six years while working towards my Master's degree in Chemistry. After obtaining my master's degree, I began teaching as an adjunct instructor at St. John Fisher College. During my time at Fisher, I also began working as a science and math tutor. It was that experience that led me to decide to obtain my certification as a NYS high school teacher through Nazareth College.
