I am the 8th Grade Reading Teacher at Roxbury Preparatory Charter School, in Boston, MA.

When I experienced educational inequity in high school, I resolved that I could not stand by and do nothing as so many students were denied access to an extraordinary education.

That is why I am a teacher, and will continue to work for and advocate for urban communities.
