Proud to print that I am an AIG teacher in three schools within Pitt County. Certified as a K-12 teacher many many moons ago, in 1985, (prior to teaching middle school students) I embarked upon a writing career and became a published author of five children's books. Then I took a side step and entered the world as a songwriting/recording artist, writing the lyrics and music for children in the 2-10 year old range. 48 published original children's songs later, my writing turned again, followed by writing a humorous newspaper column, and freelance writing for several educational publications. What's next? I simply adore creative writing, so who knows what my next step may be?
