I was born and raised right here in Daytona Beach. I have 2 children. I love animals and teaching. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, certification in science 5-9, gifted certification, National Board Certified in science and a Masters degree in reading k-12. I have been teaching since 1988. My 1st 10 years of teaching has been at various elementary schools and the rest of the time at Silver Sands Middle until the 2012/2013 school year where I moved to Creekside Middle. Last year at Silver Sands Middle, I was integrating my knowledge of science with reading as a reading teacher. Now, I am back as a science teacher at Creekside Middle School! I am so glad to be back where my heart belongs!!! Here's to having many wonderful years together.
