I have been teaching since 2004. I was a school social worker prior to that. I love playing a role in creating educational experiences for teenagers. Math is my passion and I want to help students appreciate the subject rather than fear it. I'm from Chapel Hill, NC but moved to GA in 1997. I attended the University of NC at Greensboro and earned a Bachelor of Social Work. I then attend Georgia State University where I earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Social Work. While working on my PhD. I decided that I wanted to teach. I got my teaching certification and have been teaching ever since. I have a wonderful husband named Keith. We have a son named Kade.
