About Mrs. Kimberly Fruchey

I graduated from The Defiance College, earned my Master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and this will be my 32nd year of teaching. I taught K-10 Physical Education and Health at North Central schools for 19 years. I was then hired by Liberty Center to be the Technology Coordinator which I did until fall of 2010. I am now teaching Grades 6-12 Technology Literacy.
My husband and I have been married for 27 years and we live in Wauseon. We have 3 daughters, our oldest one is married, is also a teacher. She and her husband also live in Wauseon and 5 month little girl. We also have other 2 grand-daughters ages 5 years and 1 1/2 year. Our middle daughter graduated from Northwest State and is attending Meredith College in North Carolina for Fashion Merchandising. Our youngest daughter just graduated from high school and is attending the University of Findlay majoring in Sports Management with Minors in Hospitality and Business Administration. She is also playing soccer for the Lady Oilers.
I enjoy spending time together with my family. I love gardening, landscaping, tending my alpacas and guinea fowl, learning, reading, nature, animals, sports and technology! I love helping kids learn new concepts! It is very rewarding to see the light bulb glow when my students finally understand.
