Avid reader who loves getting kids excited about books! I have been a media specialist for 6 years and taught 2nd and 3rd grade as well. My all-time favorite classic is The Yearling and my favorite novels are Poisonwood Bible, Beach Music and Tara Road. My favorite young adult book is Inkheart. The last classic I read is The Blind Assassin. My favorite thing to do at school is meet with my 5th grade book club The Extreme Readers. I also love reading aloud to kids!
