I started teaching when I was in elementary school - I had my own chalkboard, and I would make my friends do "homework"! I didn't start teaching as a career right out of college, though. I took time to explore other types of jobs and to travel. Finally, the time was right for me to get my teaching license and get into the classroom a couple years ago. What an adventure it is!
