Why do I teach?

"My goal is your success." I say it every class hour to my middle school students. I say it every session for adults attending professional development.


I teach because there is nothing more amazing than watching the dawn of real understanding as people internalize and meaningfully apply a skill for the first time. The age of the learner does not matter. That moment of "I get it" is the best PRODUCT one could make in ANY career, and I get to see it every day! I count myself blessed.
