Hello I am Ms. Hutson and I am a Middle School band director. I am a graduate of Elizabeth City State University and I teach grades 6-8 concert band at Bertie Middle School in Windsor, NC. I also am the band director for the pep band at my middle school and the assistant band director and flag coordinator for the high school marching band.

I am a clarinetist and I love to perform. I enjoy performing 20th century music on my clarinet. I am fascinated with movie scores and film music. I love to perform and listen to thematic large wind ensemble selections. I compose music for the beginner- Medium hard level. I am also a big fan of worldly music and I enjoy teaching my students music that is uncommon to them here in the states.
