I've been teaching over 30 years. The first computer I used in the classroom was a tiny Radio Shack Color micro-Computer with only about 64K of memory. We've come a long way.

I'm convinced computers can help us teach almost as much as they can help students learn. Using the tools to inspire students to create and think deeply has been my passion. I wish I was better at it.

I have never been excited about kill and drill programs, even most educational games. But the basic tools of Word processing, presentation software, along with video and audio production proves valuable year after year. The many wonderful tools available online now show great promise.

How could this not be an exciting time to be an educator?
