My major is English so I began my career teaching 10th and 11th grade English/LA at Seabreeze High School in 2006. Budget cuts left me without a position the following year so I substitute taught to remain current. During this time I was introduced to the Multi-VE setting at both the elementary and secondary levels. The students and I made a remarkable connection. I feel I have a great deal to contribute to this population as much as these amazing students offer me a sense of purpose. Teaching and mentoring students of varying exceptionalities is now where my passion lies.
