I have been teaching Biology for the past 11 years. Ten of those have been great years at DFHS. Prior to teaching I worked as a zookeeper and animal trainer at the Knoxville and Riverbanks Zoos. I have my Masters plus 30 and National Board Certification in Biology. I also enjoy training other educators on probeware.
I have two daughters that keep me busy outside of school. Kelsey is nine and enjoys competitive swimming and Makayla, five, loves gymnastics. My husband has too many jobs to list, but his main job is a Hazmat Captain at the Columbia Fire Department.
When we aren't working or at meets, we love getting away to the outdoors!
