After years of being a musician, followed by more years in broadcasting, technology was a natural progression for me. ;-)

I got into technology in 1998 with the expressed intent of going into education technology. After two years with an education technology consulting firm in St. Louis, I worked for five years as Network Manager for the Rochester School District. Then I did a stint for two and-a-half years as a consultant for CDS Technologies in Springfield. I came to Riverton through the EETT grant in 2009 as the elementary school building tech. I eventually moved into the Director of Technology slot. I think that's when I really started losing my hair.

I have really found my home here at Riverton CUSD 14, and I look forward to being here until I retire. Which will be somewhere around 2050 given my current portfolio (portfolio...more like a velcro wallet).

I love working with the teachers here, and working toward each new step in bringing technology more and more into the hands of our students!

I live on the southern edge of Springfield, with my wife, Michele, and our two Golden Retrievers, Annie and Maggie.

I still love music, and travel, and I make 3 or 4 trips a year to Colorado to visit my daughter and my brilliant, genius, gifted, handsome grandson, who looks just like his Pa-Pa!
