I grew up in Syracuse, New York, and came to Myrtle beach annually to vacation. I attended Syracuse University in New York and received my BFA in Art Education in December of 2007. It had always been a dream of mine to move here, so eventually, I made that dream become reality. A few days after graduation I was on my way to the South! I was a Substitute teacher at North Myrtle Beach for 5 months before receiving a job offer at Conway Elementary school, where I taught Art for the 08'-09' school year. In the Spring of 2009, I was offered a position here at Carolina Forest High School, and couldn't be happier to be here!
My 2nd year at this school, I decided to get my Masters Degree from Full Sail University in Education Media Design and Technology. I graduated in 2011.
All throughout my High School career, I had always aspired to be like my Art Teacher one day. My love for the Arts has definitely grown over the years, and I wish to share that love with my students!
