About Mr. Kevin Berler

Mr. Berler has his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and his Masters of Arts in Teaching Earth and Space Sciences from Stony Brook University. He has field experience in Environmental Science and Hydrology and classroom experience in Earth and Space Sciences as well as the General Sciences. He also studied the glacial history and ground water of his native Long Island, NY. His various travels have brought him to field sites in the northeast, California's San Bernardino Mountains and tropical locations in Australia. At his former school, Mr. Berler implemented Astronomy night for his students and assisted with the Science Olympiad team at his previous teaching position. He recently participated in the Space Academy for Educators in Huntsville, Alabama. When not in the classroom, Mr. Berler enjoys playing softball, watching and attending NY Yankees' games, collecting fossils, and pursuing recreational photography and astronomy.
