Welcome to my page! I am a sixth grade teacher at Warm Springs Middle School in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia where I have been teaching for the past ten years. Previously, I spent ten years at Berkeley Springs High School and at a few schools in the Seattle, Washington area. I love teaching reading, writing, and language! Currently, in addition to my teaching duties, I am assisting the West Virginia Department of Education in updating the Teach 21 site with new unit plans written to reflect the new NxtGen CSOs. I am also working on my administrative certificate in the hopes of being a curriculum supervisor one day. When I am not pursuing my education interests, I enjoy running and am currently training for a 10K. I am married and have two children, ages 12 and 7.
