About Mr. Collin MacDonald
I grew up on the east coast in a small town in western Connecticut. I attended the University of Connecticut to study Secondary English Education. After graduating with my master's degree, I moved to Chicago simply for a change of scenery and to start my professional career. I first worked at Roberto Clemente high school in the Humboldt Park neighborhood where I taught 11th grade. I then took a job on the South Side of Chicago at New Millennium School of Health, a small school on the Bowen High School campus. I focused primarily on the underclassmen during my time there, teaching both freshman and sophomore English courses. I'm thrilled to be at Ogden International High School for my second year and look forward to working with my students everyday.
