Hello! I'm an L&ST (Learning and Support Teacher)- don't you just love(?) acronyms! I do however have a soft spot for mnemonics. I was asked the other day whether, if I had the choice, I would prefer to be assisting G&T students rather than those with learning difficulties. My instant response was the latter. Why? Some students have fully unfurled wings that just need to fly higher and faster. My heart goes out to those whose wings are still crimped who (hopefully) with my intervention can begin to unfurl them and master the basics of flying that will allow them to explore their skies with a sense of confidence, independence, and mastery.
