Personal Teaching Philosophy:
I know how Edison felt the first time that he turned on the lightbulb. Each day I get to see the lightbulb come on for my students. Much like Edison, for them it came through hard work and a constant pursuit of inquiry. For me as a teacher, each time I can provide my students an opportunity to learn through inquiry, weather through trips to Saint Rose science labs, or creating a large intestine out of stockings, I know that I have done my job. Middle school science teacher at Mater Christi School in Albany, NY. I love being able to teach: Physical Science, General Science, Earth Science, Regent Biology and Life Science, it always keeps me on my toes.
