Welcome 6th graders!

My name is Mr. Koehler and this is my 1st year teaching 6th grade at RMS! However I am not new to Riverton; I have gone to school here since kindergarten and graduated a Hawk in 2006. I teach Social Studies, Math, Reading, and Writing. Outside of teaching I am also coaching 6th grade girl’s basketball this year.

One of my most important goals as an educator is to inspire students to be everything they can possibly be. I hope to teach you individual responsibility, self-worth, and problem solving techniques. I also hope to help every student achieve at their very best and to feel confident as they grow and continue to learn.

I am very excited to get to know all of you throughout the school year!
