I teach 6th grade math at First Colony Middle School in Sugar Land, TX. I've been at FCMS since 2008 and enjoy the challenge of working with this age group. One of my goals this year is to provide my students with experiences using quality digital technologies to augument the curriculum and promote digital literacy.

I recently completed my Master of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum through Michigan State University (Go Green!). Most of my coursework has centered around teaching mathematics and integrating technology in the classroom to provide students the opportunity to develop 21st century skills. I am really looking forward to putting some of the new things I've learned over the summer to use this year.
