I teach because I want to make a difference. I strongly believe that each student has unique talents, gifts and passions just waiting to be discovered, ignited and fostered. I believe it is part of my job as an educator to help each of my students find these inner treasures and learn to use them to their fullest advantage. Sign up to view your child's assignments (including a printable calendar with due dates), grades, progress and total accumulated points by going to Edmodo.com and clicking "Parent Sign Up". This is how you can create a Parent Account and track your student's progress. Just email me for your student's individual Parent Code, and you will have private, exclusive access to your student's information. Have more than one child enrolled? No problem - you can add all of your children to your Parent Account (as long as they are in one of my classes - not everyone is on Edmodo... yet). Note: your student(s) must sign up for a Student Account on Edmodo first, so that their Parent Code can be generated (no email address is required to start a Student Account).

All of my students will be encouraged to join and use Edmodo, and will be given the code for their class page during the first week of school. Edmodo is a wonderful, time-saving, paper-saving tool; as well as a fantastic way to connect teachers, parents and students in an easily-accessible forum.
