About Mrs. Erin Everidge

I graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 2000 and attended the University of Central Florida, where I received my Bachelors in Language Arts Education in 2005. I earned my Masters degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix in 2011.

I taught Language Arts at New Smyrna Beach High School from 2005 to 2011. Most recently, I worked as a Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) teacher for Volusia County Schools. I am now back at New Smyrna Beach High School, teaching English I and III. I am also the Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) Program Facilitator.

I am married to Edgewater firefighter, Bryan Everidge. We have a son named Logan, and another child on the way (ETA October 2012). We live in Edgewater and have a boxer named Maggie, and two cats named Sophie and Hemingway. We enjoy spending our time outdoors, whether we are hanging out at the beach or exploring the many destinations Florida.

To me, the best part about teaching is that every day is completely different than the one before. With this career, I know I will never get bored.
