I have been married for 19 years to Tamara, and we have two children: Amanda who is a 10th grader at VPAC, and Nathan who is a 8th grader here at BMS. I turn 43 in February.

As a family we live in Statesville where our Labradoodle Zoe and cat Kenzie allow us to dwell in their house. In my spare time I enjoy movies, reading (love my NOOK), collecting lapel pins, supporting the Carolina Panthers and Duke Blue Devils. I enjoy the Dr. Who series, British Mysteries and chilling out with NETFLIX! I dream about a Ferrari, getting certified in SCUBA and cruises to the Caribbean.

I have a profound passion for education and sharing the joys of history. While dispersing stories about our past I have an additional goal of helping young adolescents through the difficult years of middle school.
