About Ms. Jenny Moraitis

Hey there sixth graders! I am so excited for this upcoming school year. I am excited to teach you math in a way you have never learned them before. YOU will become the teachers! It may be a bit different at first, but trust me, you will love it!

A little about me... this is my third year teaching at Haut Gap. I went to college at Western Michigan University and studied early childhood education, elementary education, and middle school math and science. I am originally from White Lake, Michigan. White Lake is about 40 minutes from Detroit. I love being outdoors running, biking, camping, going to the beach, etc. I also love playing sports including basketball, softball, lacrosse, football, kickball, and golf. I am a reading fanatic when I get the opportunity. Have you read the Hunger Games yet? Holy cow was that series awesome! One of my favorite things to do is watch baseball. GO DETROIT TIGERS! Yeah, you will hear me say that a lot!

My parents still live in the house I grew up in. I have an older brother and an older sister. My sister lives REALLY far away in Bosnia! Bosnia is in eastern Europe. My favorite people in the whole world are my two nephews (Nathan and Adrian) and niece (Alexis). Adrian is three, Nathan is six, and Lexie is one! My profile picture is Nathan and I back in 2009 in Sarajevo, Bosnia. He is much bigger now!
