I teach 7th & 8th grade Social Studies at a 1:1 school in rural Maine. I have been at MJHS for over 8 years, and it is a great place to be! I am also a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and auntie.
In 7th grade, our curriculum is U.S. History, 1800s-present. In 8th grade, our curriculum is Civics, Government, and Economics. Both grades also have a focus on Current Events and Geography.
I am the leader of an RTI lab focused on service-learning as well. This year we are working on projects dealing with local history and Senior Citizens.
