I am the Director of Product Development at the Buck Institute for Education, and the author of two of BIE's books, the PBL Starter Kit for MS/HS and PBL in the Elementary Grades. Formerly worked at the Western Assessment Collaborative at WestEd, and was a high school teacher of social studies and English, active in the Coalition of Essential Schools and the high school reform movement.
