About Mrs. Soula Walls
Mrs. Soula Palassis Walls is a native, Greek-American, Cincinnati West-Sider. She attended Oak Hills Local School District, and graduated in the top five percent of her 2006 class.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude Northern Kentucky University. During her time there, Mrs. Walls was in a specialized education learning cohort, the Honors International Teaching Fellowship (HITF), in which the focus was to train teachers to shape students in a global community. Mrs. Wallshas had a variety of international experiences. In 2007, she traveled and taught in Ireland for two weeks and in 2008, she journeyed to Zacatecas, Mexico with the Secretary of Education of Mexico on a fact-finding mission. In addition, part of her student teaching experience was spent teaching English in Rennes, France. In her other student teaching assignment, Mrs. Walls taught right here at Scott High School for eight weeks.
Mrs. Walls was hired to be a part of the Scott High School Faculty in August 2010 and completed her Kentucky Teacher Internship Program in April 2011.
She has taught seniors, juniors, sophomores, Creative Writing and Introduction to Journalism. Current assignments include sponsor of Writing Club and co-teaching Literary Civics and American Studies with Mr. Dan Woolley in the Scott Renaissance Academy.
